Alholmens Camping

Along the western Blekinge coast you will find us at Alholmens Bad & Camping. Our campsite is directly connected to the sea and nature and cultural experiences in Blekinge but also Skåne as the county border is only about 16 km from the campsite.

We at Alholmens Bad & Camping can offer pitches with or without electricity, tent sites with or without electricity and cottages for rent.

The pitches and tents have plenty of space and our cabins are of a high and fresh standard.

The cabins are available with 2 or 4 beds and can be booked all year round. Parking space is available next to the cottages and dogs are allowed. All cottages are non-smoking.

Our service house was built in 2007 and is modern and functional. In the service house you will find, among other things:

• Kitchen
• A toilet
• A shower

At the reception we have a shop. Here you can order freshly baked bread & buns, sweets, groceries and more.

There are also several nice bathing areas within the camping area on a small island that you can easily walk to through a small bridge. There are both shallow bathing areas suitable for groups with children and deeper bathing waters.

Outside the campsite, there are plenty of activities and experiences for the solo traveller and the large family alike. In the immediate vicinity, in addition to the sea, forests and lakes, we also have several small towns but also larger cities such as Kristianstad and Karlskrona. Both cities have an important part in Sweden's history and there are very interesting museums and more to explore in both cities.

When it comes to experiences in nature, from the campsite you are close to hiking, cycling trails, very good fishing waters for trout, for example, and much more.

The campsite is located opposite Galgbacken. Here you can see seals, rare small woodpeckers, several different kinds of seabirds and other animals. It is also very cosy to bring a coffee and just take in nature.

Several cycle paths pass nearby and you can rent a bike from us at the reception. The most popular cycle path is the Sydostleden which is 27 miles long and can take you all the way to Växjö or Simrishamn

There are also several hiking trails where Laxaleden is the most popular. The hiking trail is 30 km long and along the trail there are a total of 100 information signs about the history and culture that has shaped life along this fish-rich and powerful watercourse over time.

Popular areas for fishing are Mörrumsån, Grundsjön, Halen, Ivösjön and of course the Baltic Sea for sea fishing.

There are also museums, viewpoints, nature reserves, churches and more. You are more than welcome to ask us about attractions. We have a good overview of the area!
