Åsele Camping

Welcome to Åsele Camping! Åsele Camping is beautifully situated next to the Ångerman River in the heart of Västerbotten's hinterland. Here you can stay in our cottages & BnB or on our large camping area in a caravan, motorhome or tent.

Please note that the showers and toilets in the summer cottages are turned off in winter. You are welcome to use the showers and toilets in the service buildings.

In addition to accommodation and camping, we offer breakfast and laundry service that is easily booked at the reception.

You can also take the opportunity to book a lovely treatment such as a massage or facial at Lizzy's wellness centre which is also run by us!

From the campsite it is only 2 km to Åsele centre where you will find grocery stores, a pharmacy, a health food store, a swimming pool, a tourist office and more.

For the adventurous, there are lots of activities in and around Åsele, summer and winter. If you like fishing, there are also great opportunities to get a bite here. In the same spirit, you will also find fine hunting grounds and hunting guidance in the area. Don't miss out on MTB cycling or take a ride on the adventure trail.

For golfers, there is also an 18-hole golf course here.

If you want to get close to and above all learn about nature, you will also find a real bushcraft company here that offers courses out in nature where you can learn all about wilderness and survival techniques that come from many years of tradition in the area. Ask at the reception and we will help you.

When winter reaches Åsele, you can of course also book several winter activities such as sled dog rides, skiing of various kinds, winter fishing and snowmobile tours.

At Åsele camping you will also find Lizzy's wellness centre. Here you can come to relax and be pampered. You can also get a haircut, pedicure and foot care in one place. And don't miss out on a nice massage!

On the third weekend of July every year, Åsele is transformed into a huge market! Here, more than 100,000 people crowd into the most central parts of the town to browse and shop from one of the more than 250 market traders on site. Don't forget to book your accommodation well in advance as this event is incredibly popular!
