Attrup Camping is a charming campsite located in scenic North Jutland, close to the Limfjord. The campsite is known for its peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings and great facilities, making it an ideal choice for families, couples and single travellers alike.
The campsite has spacious pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents where guests can enjoy the fresh air and scenic surroundings. The campsite offers modern facilities, including service buildings with toilets, showers and washing facilities. There is also a communal kitchen where campers can prepare meals and a seating area where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and socialise.
For younger guests, there is a playground where children can romp around while parents relax. The reception and shop are located at the top of the square and offer a selection of ice cream, soft drinks, beer and wine. Although the selection is limited, grocery shopping is available in neighbouring towns.
One of the great advantages of Attrup Camping is its location near Attrup Harbour, which is only 850 metres away. Here you can experience the cosy harbour atmosphere and visit Attrup Havnecafé, which serves delicious food and refreshments.
The campsite is run by Stiftelsen Købmandsgården, a social economy organisation where employees with special needs help run and maintain the campsite. This creates a warm and inclusive atmosphere where both guests and staff feel welcome.

Attrup Camping has a fantastic location close to some of North Jutland's most exciting attractions. Just two kilometres from the campsite you'll find Hvisselhøj Jættestue, an impressive burial mound that is more than 5200 years old. This is the only place in Denmark where you can visit a passage cave with both a main chamber and bicameral chamber, which is connected to the southern part of Europe.
For those who love historical buildings, Kokkedal Castle is an ideal excursion. The castle, first mentioned in 1407, is just three kilometres from the campsite. A scenic path leads around the castle and allows you to experience it from all angles.
Fosdalen, a beautiful plantation just 17 kilometres from the campsite, offers spectacular hiking routes and natural water sources. The area also has stunning views of the North Sea, making it a must for nature lovers.
Løgstør, 19 kilometres away, is a cosy market town with great shopping opportunities and a charming harbour. The town is also known for Christian IV's canal, which is a popular destination for history buffs.
The sandy beaches of the west coast are also within easy reach. Tranum Strand, Rødhus Strand and Slettestrand are perfect places to take a dip or enjoy a walk along the sea. Tranum Strand is particularly interesting as you can see bunkers from the Second World War.
