Berkinge Bad & Fiskecamp

Berkinge Bad & Fiskecamp can be found in Uppland, idyllically located surrounded by the beautiful Swedish nature. Our campsite is a restored mill pond in an old mill environment that gives the campsite a unique identity and feeling. Here we also have a large fine bathing facility and the fishing is top class. Come and experience for yourself!

With us you will find camping plots with electricity and tent sites with electricity.

The campsite consists of 15 hectares of fine grass areas. Here you will find all the space for play and games you could possibly want.

The campsite's large bathing facility is extremely popular and has both jumping towers, trampolines, bathing bridges and water courses. We even have one of Sweden's longest water slide courses called free fall with us. There are also water courses more suitable for smaller children. Changing rooms and disabled toilets are located next to the pool. You parents can imagine how excited the children are to play with all their energy in the bathing facility.

In the camping area, we also have an old mill that has been renovated into a restaurant / grill that holds full rights. In the restaurant we also organize joint events.

Here you can also fish for rainbow trout, pike, perch and whitefish. Fishing licenses can be purchased at the reception and the campsite also offers rowing boats for rent. The day's catch can then be cooked according to your own recipe on some of the designated fire/barbecue areas in the camping area. We also have fishing equipment for sale. Permitted fishing gear is spin, fly and mete.

Next to the campsite there is also a very nice miniature golf course.

At the reception you will find a kiosk and mini-lives.

The campsite is secluded with Gävle and Uppsala 68 km and 72 km respectively from the campsite. Here it is primarily nature experiences and smaller towns that the area has to offer you dear visitors.

Here you are free to wander around or cycle along the nice trails and explore. We promise that the surroundings will not leave you disappointed.

The campsite is surrounded by smaller towns that all have something unique to offer. For example, Öregrund, about 30 km from the campsite, is a very popular coastal town to visit during the summer. Every year, the boat week is also organized in Öregrund, which is a festival week with something for all ages to offer. The author himself knows a person born and raised in Öregrund who highly recommends the town for a visit!

Östhammar is another popular destination with a cozy small town feel hanging in the air. Here, life goes at a quiet pace, which is good for the soul.

The campsite also offers rental of caravans for use within the camping area. Prices from 300 SEK to 600 SEK per day depending on size.
