If you want a real nature-based camping experience, you should visit us at Apiary Birgitta. Just as the name suggests, here we have bee farms and we can teach you everything that has to do with bees! With us you will find nice pitches for rent. We welcome you!

Our facility is wonderfully located in the countryside, but you could also say out in the sticks. Here we are surrounded by nature and the stress and pulse of big cities are far away. You can come here to really relax.

During the summer we organise the bee safari where you dive into their world and learn everything related to these beautiful creatures. The safari lasts about 1 hour and of course we provide the protective clothing! We promise that this will be an educational experience and that you will never look at bees in the same way again.

In our café we bake our own organic cakes and pies but we also sell delicious sandwiches. The sandwiches are made from our own baked sourdough and the spreads are either grown here by ourselves or in the local area. Here there is something for everyone regardless of allergies and we also always serve gluten and lactose-free options and also vegan options.

Within the campsite you will also find our cosy cottage and here we organise different kinds of activities such as music activities and crafts. The entire cabin can also be rented for private events. Please ask us for more information! We also sell honey and other crafts here. Feel free to drop by the shop!

Outside the campsite you will find beautiful trails to hike or cycle along. The view here is the typical Scanian countryside. The area is very flat, which makes hiking and cycling easy and pleasant for everyone.

The campsite is located pretty much halfway between Emmaboda and Nybro. These charming small towns are 15 and 17 kilometres from the campsite respectively and have a surprising amount to offer their visitors. In Emmaboda, for example, you can visit the amusement centre where you can go go-karting, laser tag and paintball, to name but a few.

For less adrenaline-fuelled activities, you can visit The Glass Factory Glass Museum or why not Emmaboda Bryggeri?

In Nybro there is a James Bond museum and a very lovely town centre that is very cosy to wander around.

Only 8.6 km from the campsite we also have Glasrikets Älgpark where you as a visitor can see moose up close. There is also a pond where you can fish for planted rainbow trout.
