Byns camping

Byns Camping is the cosy campsite right next to the Klarälven river, an oasis that was founded 40 years ago. Here you will find a campsite with a unique location by the river in northern Värmland where you are also within walking distance of both local grocery stores, shops and Ekshärad's famous and beautiful church. Come here by car, bike or on a hiking trip. There is something for everyone who is looking for some relaxation in nature.

The village campsite is also known for their fine canoe and kayak hire, Klarälvdalens kanot. Here guests are offered a quality of the higher degree and a personal service based on many years of experience of paddling in the area. The tours offered are well taken care of and well paddled to obtain a consistently good safety and quality. Come here and learn all about canoeing!

Byns camping is a well-established campsite located only a 10-minute walk from Ekshärad, which has shops and other amenities. Here you will find about 50 places for caravans / motorhomes, which makes the campsite both cosy and present. Experience the atmosphere and nature, pitch your tent or caravan and enjoy!

At Byns Camping we also find a small kiosk where you can get drinks, sweets and other essentials.

In addition to this, they also have some cabins available. if you need to go to the toilet or use the shower, there is of course a nice service house available. There is also an equipped kitchen and washing machine available for all guests.

As you know, Byns Camping is located in Värmland, which is often referred to as Sweden in miniature, which in many ways is very true. With a low population density and open countryside, you will find an incredibly peaceful and harmonious place. the region is home to a rich wildlife with both birds and other animals. These include beavers, moose, bears, wolves and even lynx. With a little luck, you may even see the rare wolverine!

If you visit Byns Camping at the right time of year, there are also lots of mushrooms, blackberries, cloudberries and lingonberries.

Not to be missed during your stay is to explore all the activities and opportunities that Klarälvdalens offers. Here you can fish and fishing licences are available at the reception. At present, salmon are being reintroduced into the Klarälven, which of course increases interest in fishing.

Around and around the area around the river Klarälven and Byn's campsite we find nice local roads and paths that are perfect for a little bike ride. Take a day trip to the Moose Park and experience these majestic animals up close. Want to go cross-country skiing in the summer? You can do that in Torsby ski tunnel, which offers 2km of indoor tracks to cover.

Are you keen to swim? Then head to Byns strand or visit the pool in Hagfors or why not drive to sunny Sunne where you can have a full day in the water park.
