Camp Järvsö

A warm welcome to Camp Järvsö! Camp Järvsö is located in the heart of Hälsingland, where both winter and summer are characterised by beautiful nature and wonderful activities. At Camp Järvsö you can stay on one of the pitches or why not try something new and book a night in the enchanting glamping tents?

The facility offers experiences and training opportunities in the fantastic forest areas and in the evenings you enjoy both good food, drinks and music. There are 20 campsites on the site, just a stone's throw away from the reception, restaurant, service centre and lots of activities. The pitches include both electricity and wifi for the connected individual.

If you visit the service centre, you will find both laundry and dishwashing facilities. Toilets and showers are located in the gymnasium. The campsites themselves are graveled for parking motorhomes / caravans and next to the site you also have a piece of lawn. Camp Järvsö does not currently offer emptying of latrine or grey water, so make sure to plan when it is time to empty a little in advance.

Camp Järvsö serves good food in the restaurant and when you stay here you can make options for both breakfast, lunch and dinner. In the summer and more specifically on Wednesdays, a lovely barbecue evening is also offered, which has been very popular over the years. Come and socialise with lovely people and enjoy the beautiful summer evening! If you like to cook your own food, you will of course also have access to one of our 4 barbecue areas that are scattered around the area.

To add is that the price of your accommodation also includes full use of our fine training facilities. Do a strength session in the gym, a yoga session in the yoga hall or challenge yourself in our "outdoor arena" where you will find a climbing wall, coordination track, bike track, football pitch and much more! Camp Järvsö also offers several leader-led sessions that you can join.

In addition to the fantastic activities offered in and around the camping area itself, we of course find Järvsö and thus also Järvsöbacken. Here you can enjoy wonderful skiing both downhill and cross-country. If you are looking for the more adrenaline-filled option, you can choose from 20 different slopes in Järvsöbacken. There is a slope for everyone! If you like to enjoy cross-country skiing, you will find 85 km of classic tracks and also 18 km of "skate" tracks in the Harsa area.

If you instead want to take the family and watch animals under controlled forms, you will find Järvzoo. Here the animals live in their natural environment and you can see everything from moose, wolves, lynx to wolverine musk oxen and reindeer. If you want to continue on the adventurous path, Järvsö and Hälsingland offer a large number of activities such as rafting, climbing, forskajaking, Zip & climb and much more!

If you want to take a slightly quieter day and devote yourself to shopping, a visit to Ljusdal is recommended.
