Camping Fristad

Welcome to Camping Fristad! Here you stay in a tent, caravan, motorhome or why not a roof tent. Stay for 1 night or 3 weeks, you are always welcome. A reserved pitch is for up to four adults or six people in total. You cannot decide on the pitch in advance, but you can request to stay next to each other.

We have a number of pitches with electricity, but a larger number without electricity, the campsite for the "back to basics" enthusiast ie the simplicity of living with less. To offer modern conveniences, there is a fridge in the general kitchen at reception. You can also charge your phone in the reception building, please do this preferably during the day as much as possible, then we use the solar energy!

Camping Fristad is located in the middle of our beautiful Värmland, rich in its tens of thousands of lakes. More than half of the landscape is forested, which provides plenty of opportunities for activity. You can mountain bike for hours, walk miles on hiking trails and visit countless beautiful lakes. All kinds of hire options and routes can be found at reception.

We like to keep the campsite as car-free as possible, after settling into your pitch we like you to park your car in the designated car park. In the car park there are some trolleys to transport things or children to your pitch. We are open from May to September! You are welcome!
