Camping het Horstmannsbos

Welcome to the Horstmannsbos campsite!

On a unique location in the woods near the Drouwenerzand nature reserve you will find the Horstmannsbos campsite. Our campsite is located in beautiful Gasselte, in the province of Drenthe. Located on the Hondsrug between the towns of Gieten and Borger. You can really relax here.

The camping pitches are kept in the forest on a natural sand drift, among other things. If you are lucky, you will even be woken up there in the morning by the herd of heathland sheep that roam the nature reserve. You feel completely in nature, but with all facilities within walking distance. In addition, we have various fields with spacious, partially marked out pitches. Want to enjoy the sun? Or cool in the shade anyway? Everything is possible.

There is plenty to do in the area. How about a wonderful walking or cycling trip? Or go to the Drouwenerzand amusement park with the children? Since this year, Gasselte also has the largest open-air water park in the Netherlands. You can have fun with the whole family in this new park.
