Degernäs camping

Degernäs Camping is a cosy family campsite situated in a beautiful and scenic location right next to Lake Möckeln. Thanks to this magnificent location with proximity to the lake, you will find most caravan pitches with lake views.

Degernäs Camping has around 80 camping pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents. Most are with electricity, but if you come camping, there are of course also places without electricity.

At Degernäs campsite you will also find lovely walking paths that run right by the water. Here you can enjoy nature or take a bath on the fine sandy beach which is very popular on hot days. The beach has 2 well-built jetties, one of which is adapted for the disabled.

If you look a little further out into the water, you will find a raft with a diving tower for those who want to raise their pulse a little extra during their dip in the blue. As long as the heat is there, the jetties are in. For the children you will also find a nice playground where they can easily run freely and entertain themselves.

The playground is also located right next to the beach so if you rent a Sjöstuga you have full supervision of the children when they play.

For the fishing individual, there is a lot to pick up. Lake Möckeln has all kinds of sea fish. If you want to get a fishing licence, you can easily do this at the reception at Degernäs camping.

In addition to this, you will find mini golf, sauna, boules, canoe and boat hire and much more directly at the campsite.

In the vicinity of Degernäs camping you will find lots of things to do. For the golf-playing individual, the first tee is found only 100 metres from the campsite itself. The golf course is called Degerfors Golf and is a very nice and well-kept course.

Right next door is also Degerfors Herrgård where good food and drink are promised in a beautiful and relaxing environment. Other attractions in Degerfors include Dressinbanan where you can ride a dressage bike all the way from Degerfors all the way down to Gullspång.

Another tip in the immediate area is to visit the Berget Cultural Centre where you can meet animals, hike in the beautiful Svea Falls, shop for something unique and local in the small trade stalls or why not look into the workers' museum.

If you go a little further from the campsite you will find Karlskoga where several fun activities are available to discover. Visit Boda bord, an adventure house where you get several challenges to overcome in different levels of difficulty. Here you can join teams of 3-5 people to solve various tasks and challenges. Bring the family and put on your impervious clothes and have a real full day together.

If you want to follow in Alfred Nobel's footsteps, you can go to the Fancy House in the same spirit. This is an experimental workshop located right next to Alfred Nobel's laboratory. Here, both children and adults can try out exciting experiments where you have fun and learn at the same time!

If you like even more speed and excitement, Karlskoga Motorstadion is recommended. Check out track racing, drifting, car meetings, kart hire and much more.

Check-in takes place from 15:00 at Degernäs Camping's reception. Help keep the campsite tidy. there are barrels placed for both waste and deposit throughout the facility.

If you rent a cottage, you can of course also book final cleaning on site at the campsite. Failure to clean or inadequate cleaning will be charged.

When you leave the campsite, check-out takes place before 11:00. A warm welcome!
