Eskilns Camping

Eskilns Camping is a campsite with an extraordinary range of facilities. As a visitor to Eskilns Camping, you are close to the incredibly fine and lively sandy beach at Lake Eskil. There are large grassy areas where you can play, play or just sunbathe and laze. Right next to the beach there is a cool water slide with a temperate pool that children love to ride.

Other fun activities available at Eskilns Camping are mini golf and beach volleyball. But what attracts visitors from all over Sweden is the fantastic Fagersta cable park, Sweden's largest cable park. The country's first full-size park is aimed at professional wakeboarders and first-time riders of all ages. Fagersta water ski club, which collaborates with Eskilns Camping, has its clubhouse here where you can book both time and equipment for both wakeboarding, water skiing and boating. Do not miss this unique and fast-paced experience.

Eskilns Camping also offers fishing in a so-called put & take lake where you have a guaranteed bite and can catch the evening's dinner. If you prefer to have your food served directly, Eskilns Camping has a wonderful restaurant with a la carte and full rights. The restaurant attracts not only camping guests but also people who swing by to enjoy the lovely atmosphere and the view of the lake. During the high season, live music is organised with bands and troubadours. A recurring highlight during the weekends is the Summer Music Cross where guests solve music crosses to live music.

A short distance from Eskilns Camping there is a fine 18-hole golf course if you have packed your golf clubs. The surroundings of Eskilns Camping are also good mushroom and berry fields and the land is adjacent to the Eskiln Trail, which is 2.5 kilometres long. During the summer, the track around the lake is very popular for both walking and running.

In addition to all these wonderful and unique activities, there is much more to discover around Fagersta. Bruksleden, Västanfors, salmon fishing in Stora Abborrtjärn, Västanfors Hembygdsområde, Oljeön and Engelsbergs bruk are also something that attracts lots of tourists every year. 3 km south of Eskilns Camping is Fagersta town centre. There are lots of shops here if you need to buy something for your stay at the campsite.

If you come here in winter, ice fishing, cross-country skiing or alpine skiing are popular. The 2.5-kilometre-long electric light trail is prepared in winter for both classic cross-country skiing and freestyle skiing. There is also another 7.5 kilometre trail that is also prepared for skiing during the winter months.
