Fornaboda Racecourse, located on Route 50 about four kilometres north of Lindesberg, offers an exciting combination of racing and camping. Here you can not only experience the vibrant atmosphere of trotting but also enjoy relaxing accommodation on our pitches. We currently offer around 10 pitches with electricity, and these can be easily booked through Campcation. For those looking for accommodation close to nature and a genuine camping experience, Fornaboda is an ideal place to park and relax.
The facility is known as "Sweden's greenest course" and is surrounded by beautiful natural areas that provide a harmonious setting. Despite its smaller size, Fornaboda trotting track has a well thought-out range of facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. All pitches offer electricity, and there is access to toilets and water close to the site. For those who want to experience both the drama of trotting and comfortable camping accommodation, Fornaboda is a perfect combination.
The track has a long tradition in harness racing and is today a distinctly seasonal track with races during the summer months. The highlight of the year is the popular Bergslagsloppet, a trotting race that attracts many visitors and creates a unique atmosphere.
