Getgårdens Café, cykel- och kanotuthyrning

Welcome to Getgårdens Café, a unique gem located in By Kyrby, Dalarna. Our charming café offers a special experience where you can enjoy your fika in the company of our friendly goats, all while enjoying a breathtaking view of Bysjön. We take great pride in using locally produced organic ingredients and bake our treats right on the spot in the old stone oven of the house.

In addition to the café business, we offer bike repairs and professional help for your bike. There is a wide range of (recycled) spare parts and all bikes are available for hire, with most also available for sale.

Up to ten beds are available for booking, allowing visitors to stay overnight and fully enjoy all that the area has to offer.

The area around Getgårdens Café in By Kyrby is rich in natural experiences and cultural treasures. Just two hours from Arlanda Airport, you'll find a world of adventure and beauty. Explore Färnebofjärden National Park, where the Dalälven River connects the landscapes of Dalarna, Västmanland, Uppland, and Gästrikland in a unique setting.

Along the roads you can discover living mountain farms, beautiful sandy beaches, interesting museums and cultural buildings as well as charming cafés and craft stalls.

Activities such as riding Icelandic horses, playing tennis, fishing or walking along pram-friendly trails in the wetlands are just some of the experiences that await. For the adventurous, a free cycling and canoeing map is available to guide you to exciting destinations around Färnebofjärden and Bysjön.

Don't forget to pack appropriate clothing for outdoor activities and possibly fishing or cycling equipment if you want to take part in the many activities offered in the area.
