If you want to enjoy a nice holiday surrounded by animals, the Hakun Horse and Livestock Farm is the place for you.

There is a livestock farm attached to our farm, where you can see how sheep and goats live and feed rabbits, ducks and chickens. You can also admire Kaisa the pig and the mini pigs Pipsa, Tellervo and Jyka. Of course, you'll also be welcomed by the barn cats Miina and Manu and the dogs Nalle, Luna, Lola and Lala.

The petting zoo will open in mid-May and is open every day from 11am to 4pm and by appointment. Admission fee: €6/person The admission fee also includes a visit to the Haku's hut and nature trail, as well as the school museum and old-fashioned shop. Coffee and meals can be arranged for groups on request.

The nearest larger city is Joensuu, 45 km away.
