Hallingparken - Sentrumsnær hytte- og bobilpark

The main attraction in Hallingparken is the Gol Stave Church. A replica of the stave church was built in 1980 and was consecrated by the bishop of Tunsberg in 1994. The original stave church stood high and free on the mountainside, while the replica was built as a lighthouse in the center of Gol. The replica of the Gol Stave Church is a beautiful wooden temple with a magical atmosphere.

The Viking Longhouse Valhall has exhibitions about the Norse faith, where tableaux and figures describe some of the Viking gods. Kong Haddings Gravhaug shows exhibitions and information about Vikings, trolls and tussers, as well as superstitions and legends from Gol that have influenced people's lives. You can also visit the home of the Hahaug troll, a small cave underground, and the Nissehuset where mechanical elves work on the Christmas presents.

According to legend, King Hadding and his sons ruled Hallingdal before Harald Fairhair. It is said that there was a battle between the two sons of King Hadding in Gol, and that one of them fell. Therefore, you can visit King Hadding's Grave Mound in Gordarike, which is an exhibition about Vikings and legends from Gol.

Hallingparken - Sentrumsnær hytte- og bovilbark in Gol offers free parking, a seasonal outdoor pool and a spa centre and is located close to Gol Stave Church. The property is also close to Tropicana Badeland, while a 25-minute walk takes you to Heis A.
