At Herrfallet Fritids- och konferensanläggning you are never far from things to do. The resort has a long, child-friendly sandy beach that stretches for several kilometres, and you may be lucky enough to find your own sandy beach in a bay. Right next to the beach there is a beach volleyball court and if you want you can hire a boat, canoe and rowing boat to get out on the lake. A summer without a sauna in the evening is of course unthinkable. There is a nice sauna at the facility that your party can book.

The fishing in Hjälmaren is really good. You can catch everything from perch, pike and zander, which you can then grill in the evening. During the months of August to September, Herrfallet Fritids- och konferensanläggning also offers crayfishing. This experience can be combined with several offers and of course you get to keep all the catch yourself. Equipment is available for hire. In winter you can try ice fishing on the ice. Ask at reception for more information when you check in. There's also a miniature golf course and football pitch here. If you want to try real golf, Arboga Golf Club is 20 minutes away by car and offers a nice 18-hole course. You can even try playing paintball at the centre, an adrenaline-filled experience you won't soon forget.

There is a nice playground on site for the kids. You can also take the kids to visit the sheep pen, which is home to friendly ewes and lambs. Staff encourage guests to bring some crispbread and feed the peaceful animals. A classic Swedish summer memory you and your children will carry with you for life!

Herrfallet Fritids- och konferensanläggning has a restaurant with full rights. During the summer, everything from troubadours to shrimp and barbecue evenings are organised here. If you like dancing, an orchestra plays here every Thursday in high season. Barbecues are available on site at several of the public barbecues and there is even a barbecue hut. There are great jogging and hiking trails next to the centre. Hire a bike and take a ride into the forest in beautiful berry and mushroom fields.

In winter, you can go out on the lake and go long-distance skating or take a ski trip on the groomed cross-country tracks nearby, or why not hire a snowmobile. Twenty minutes away by car there is a good ski slope with evening lighting and snow cannon. If you want to explore the area by car, you will find Vingåker Factory Outlet, Västerås, Hallstahammar, Eskilstuna, Örebro within an hour's drive.
