Far out on the Hornslandet peninsula outside Hudiksvall is one of Hälsingland's finest gems, Hölick Havsresort & SPA Gävleborg. The whole area around the resort is characterised by unspoilt coastline and nature reserve with vast beaches and unspoilt nature to enjoy.

At Hölick Havsresort & SPA Gävleborg you will also find Sweden's only Tipi village. The tipi tents are for those who want to stay out in nature but lie under a soft down blanket in a cosy bed. The tipi tents are eight metres high and about 32 square metres in size. They are luxuriously furnished with exclusive furniture, carpets, lamps and beautifully situated a stone's throw from the sea.

A guaranteed cosy and unforgettable experience. Both the camping pitches and the Tipi tents are connected to all amenities, including toilets, showers, kitchens, laundry rooms, baby washing facilities and latrine emptying.

The sandy beaches of Ystan and Storsand have fine-grained sand and are shallow with clear water. The sandy beaches are long with great opportunities to find your own place or rock where you can hang out undisturbed.

If you feel active, there is access to activities such as jogging, hiking, cycling, fishing and exploring the magical wildlife of Hornslandet. The ecopark also attracts lots of visitors in the winter, when skiers, skaters and ice fishing enthusiasts gather for wonderful winter activities.

There is of course adventure golf in the area, which is open whatever the weather. The courses are naturally hilly and provide exciting challenges for the whole group, a real Swedish summer classic!

A major highlight at Hölick Havsresort & SPA Gävleborg is the Pool & Bar and Restaurant Lagunen. Here you are welcomed with relaxing music where you can enjoy everything from the morning's breakfast to the evening's delicious barbecue menu, which is developed in collaboration with none other than star chef Melker Andersson. The restaurant is undoubtedly one of the best located restaurants on the Norrland coast.

Directly adjacent to the restaurant is both the bar and an outdoor spa with a pool that keeps 25 degrees all year round, add to that a luxurious jacuzzi and several different types of sauna and you have everything you could wish for.

Hölick is home to Europe's second longest rock caves. They consist of around ten halls, the largest of which measures 1,133 metres. Perfect for cave climbing. The best time to visit the caves is between May and October.

It's good to know that the caves have a seasonal delay of about two months. So it's spring in the cave when you visit during the summer. Which means it can be wet. This is truly an exciting adventure for the whole family. For children, it is necessary to bring an accompanying adult for safety. Remember to bring at least two light sources per person. Equipment is available to borrow at the reception.
