Description

In a beautiful forest and mill environment right by the Knipån River at Hagårds Lagård, Julareds glamping is located. Here you can breathe a sigh of relief after an active day among treetops and hiking trails.

In the globe-shaped glamping tents, you can hear the magical movement of the water from the nearby pond while you lie down in a freshly made bed. In the evening, the clear starry sky shines through the skylight. This is glamping at its best.

The site also has a number of pitches where you can set up your motorhome, caravan or tent.

At Julareds glamping there are lots of activities. As the Hagård family say themselves, "If you don't live at Liseberg, you have to create your own adventure park". Clay pigeon shooting. climbing wall, multi-combat, paintball and high ropes course with zipline are just some of the things you can do.

For the smaller children there is a slide where you can go down a miniature of Habo church's bell tower, walk on the roof ridge just like Astrid Lindgren's madicken, crawl behind the climbing wall in a tunnel or ride on a pig's knee. Julareds glamping is located at Hagårds Lagård. This is a family farm that dates all the way back to the 17th century. According to the old diary, the current owner Håkan was given the right to create the pond behind the manor house along Knipån by his great-grandfather, Håkan Johansson, who was born at the end of the 18th century. The water was dammed to provide energy to the now defunct Julareds mill.

The water continues to Lake Furusjö and then makes its way down to Lake Vättern. The Hagård family are clear that it is their ancestors that they want to thank for the fantastic view from the cable car. They were also the ones who planted all the old pine trees 150 years ago that all visitors climb and live among today.
