Description
Just south of Småland is Kattugglan Ställplats. It's a little gem right along the river Lagan, which has been known above all for its historically good salmon fishing. There are about ten pitches with access to toilet, shower, drinking water, waste sorting, toilet emptying and grey water drainage.
If you want electricity for the caravan site, there is a gravel area in the courtyard.

With its fantastic location, Kattugglan Ställplats is a hidden gem that is definitely worth a visit. Here you can take a trip in Lagan with one of the pedal or small boats or canoes available for hire. If you want to take a dip, there is a jetty with a bathing ladder here
Kattugglan Ställplats is dog-friendly and also has several barbecue areas and benches available for the perfect barbecue evening. Ljungby town centre is 7 km from the pitches with several shops such as citygross and biltema and cosy restaurants worth visiting. The centre also has a number of cafés, shops and museums.
Something you should not miss is Ljungby's Old Square. Since the 17th century, this place around Gästgivaregården on Gamla Torg has been a busy meeting and trading place. Locals and travellers used to gather here to do business, hear the latest gossip, bargain at the various markets and take part in exciting court proceedings.
During the summers, popular flea markets are organised where you can find great bargains.

Kattugglan Ställplats is open all year round. Pets are welcome. The road to the caravan park may seem quite busy, but the caravan park is delimited by trees and bushes and a nice fence. A fence that is a dog park is next door, where dogs can run freely.
