Läckö Strand Camping

Läckö Strand Camping is what you call a lovely place on earth. A peaceful campsite with the lake in front and the forest behind. The facility is located a few kilometres from Kållandsö and beautiful Läckö Castle in lovely western Götaland. Läckö Strand Camping is a cosy and small campsite with about 20 pitches.

What you will find at the campsite is, among other things, toilet and shower, dishes, latrine emptying, free wifi, a nice kiosk with ice cream and sweets as well as a cafe and a shop that is open during the day during the high season. You can also order fresh breakfast rolls during this period!

If you want to get out on the water, there is also canoe hire and, for the landlubber, bike hire.

The café serves all sorts of goodies such as buns and cakes baked on locally produced products. what is not baked at Läckö strands camping is bought from the island's pastry chef. Here you can also enjoy the delicious and very popular shrimp sandwich and of course other good sandwich experiences.

In the local shop at Läckö Strand Camping you can buy locally produced products. Everything from food products to textiles, crockery, home furnishings and more.

In the immediate vicinity of Läckö Strand Camping you can choose whether you want to enjoy the tranquillity of the campsite, sit in the garden and let your thoughts float away or take a walk in nature. If you're feeling energetic and want to do something different, there are plenty of activities and excursions to choose from. The campsite provides a volleyball net, boules and other things to keep you entertained.

Hire a bike and get around the small roads on the island. At Läckö Strand Camping they are happy to show you the different routes you can take.

Take a trip to Läckö Castle where you'll find further canoe and kayak hire to get out into the beautiful archipelago.

If you then cycle on and take a shortcut across the fields in the area, you will come to "Spiken". This area is a fishing harbour where you can walk around and enjoy a picturesque setting. Don't forget to taste the smoked whitefish, one of the specialities of Spiken! Many fish stalls also sell fresh fish, vendace roe, crayfish and other savoury dishes that go well with the sea.

If you want to cycle further, it is recommended that you head towards "Naven" and "Skaven".

If you like golf, you have also come to the right place. About 8 km from the campsite is Läckö golf with its fine courses.

Another favourite place to visit is Kungagraven, which is located by the excavations at Kållandsö towards Odensvik and Sunnerby. Exciting and educational for the whole family.

Don't miss visiting Lidköping, which is not far from the campsite. Here you will find everything you need with cosy surroundings and lots of excursion destinations! A visit to the Rohrstrand porcelain factory is also recommended.
