Lindeland Camping, a picturesque retreat in the heart of Vest-Agder, Norway, has been a favorite among camping enthusiasts since its establishment in 1970. After an extensive renovation in 2011, the campsite appears in new splendor, with modern facilities such as a new sanitary facility, a spacious barbecue area, and a sand volleyball court, which invite socializing and physical activity.
The campsite offers a diverse range of accommodation options to suit all tastes and needs. For those who prefer traditional camping, there are around 12 campsites with electricity and another 12 without, as well as dedicated pitches for tents. For those seeking a little extra comfort, Lindeland also offers accommodation in a house with rooms, which provides a feeling of home in scenic surroundings.
The unique location along the Sira River allows for a wide range of water activities. Guests can enjoy fishing in the river, or take advantage of canoe rentals for a paddle on the calm waters. This, combined with the scenic surroundings, creates the perfect setting for both relaxation and adventure.
Also integrated into the camping experience is a function room and a farm museum at the reception, as well as a local handicrafts outlet, adding a cultural and historical aspect to your stay. For a taste of local cuisine, coffee, lappar, and sour cream porridge are offered, and for larger groups there are options to order dinner.
