Welcome to Naturcamping Meyersgrund, your perfect destination for a relaxing camping holiday in the middle of the breathtaking nature of the Thuringian Forest! Our spacious camping site offers numerous pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents, so you can choose your favourite pitch - whether on an open meadow or in a separate area with more privacy.

Each pitch is equipped with a 16A power connection (CEE plug), so you don't have to worry about the power supply. For maximum comfort, well-maintained sanitary facilities with showers and toilets are at your disposal, which you can either use communally or book as a private bathroom.

Our campsite also has a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, a bread roll service in the morning and a small kiosk where you can buy drinks, food and hiking maps.

There are numerous facilities for families: A playground, archery, guided nature hikes and the possibility of organising children's birthday parties or small camps. Those looking for relaxation can indulge in a Thai yoga massage on Saturdays.

Of course, your four-legged friend is also very welcome! Dogs are allowed on request, but special rules apply to certain areas.

To make your stay at Naturcamping Meyersgrund as pleasant as possible, here is some helpful information:

• Arrival and departure: Check-in for pitches is possible from May to October between 08:00 and 18:00. Reduced opening hours apply from November to April. If you are arriving later, please let us know in advance.
• Pitch use: Your pitch is available to you until 12:00 on the day of departure.
• Catering: In the morning we offer a bread roll service, which can be ordered until 10.30 am the day before. There is also a small selection of drinks and food in the kiosk.
• Sanitary facilities: There is a small charge for using the showers (€0.50 for 4 minutes of hot water).
• Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is available for a fee in most areas, although availability may vary due to the dense woodland.
• Leisure facilities: You can hire bikes or e-bikes on site for €20 per day. A deposit of €200 is required.
• Pets: Dogs are welcome, but not allowed in certain areas (sanitary facilities, holiday home 1).
• Payment options: We accept cash, EC cards, Mastercard and Visa.
• Rest periods: Please observe the quiet hours from 22:00 to 07:00 to ensure a relaxing stay for all guests.

Naturcamping Meyersgrund is located in one of the most beautiful regions of Thuringia, surrounded by dense forests, rolling hills and numerous hiking and cycling trails. From here, you can easily reach some of the most popular excursion destinations in the Thuringian Forest on foot, by bike or by car.

One of the highlights of the region is the Rennsteig, one of the most famous hiking trails in Germany. The Vessertal Biosphere Reserve is also a must for nature lovers and invites you to enjoy marvellous walks and wildlife spotting. In winter, the region turns into a paradise for skiers and cross-country skiers, as there are numerous cross-country trails and ski slopes in the immediate vicinity.

For culture lovers, the historic towns of Ilmenau (15 km away) and Erfurt (approx. 50 km away) are well worth a visit, where you can discover picturesque old towns, museums and regional specialities. If you are looking for relaxation, you can indulge yourself in one of the many spas in the area.

Restaurants, cafés and shopping facilities can be found in the surrounding villages, which are only a few minutes away by car. Cosy beer gardens also invite you to wind down after an eventful day.
