Experience the peaceful beauty of Reed Camping in Breim, an ideal place for both relaxation and adventure. This campsite is a jewel in the Vestland landscape, surrounded by majestic mountains and sparkling water. Reed Camping offers a range of accommodation options, including pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents, as well as charming cabins for those looking for a little extra comfort.
Reed Camping offers the essentials for a relaxed and down-to-earth stay in the heart of Breim. Our sanitary facilities are simple but regularly cleaned, stocked, and maintained. Laundry machines are a bit temperamental, but they do the job — and we're hoping to upgrade them during the summer. In our small kitchen area, you'll find a compact oven with two cookplates, a double sink for dishes, and nearby, a shared seating area with a kettle and microwave available for use. Children can burn off energy on the playground, which includes swings, a slide, teeter-totter, and trampoline (use at your own risk). While there aren’t formal common areas, the seating space beside the kiosk is open to everyone — campers and locals alike — and makes a cozy spot for a cup of coffee or a chat. There are a few picnic tables around the grounds and a BBQ that’s due for some love, but still a nice option for a simple outdoor meal. Nature lovers will appreciate the direct access to nearby hiking trails and scenic routes that lead straight into the beautiful Breim landscape.
Please be advised that our local grocery store was closed down late 2024 and the nearest one is 10 minutes further away in Byrkjelo.
After a long day of exploring, guests can gather around the barbecue areas for a pleasant evening. The campsite is also equipped with several picnic areas where you can enjoy meals in the open with a view of the scenic landscape. For nature lovers, Reed Camping offers direct access to a number of hiking trails and scenic routes that lead straight into the heart of Breim.

Check-in for the campsite starts at 12:00, while cabin guests can check in from 15:00. Check-out must take place before 12:00 for camping guests and 11:00 for those living in cabins. Reed Camping is open from May 23 to October 5, so it is best to plan your trip within these dates to avoid missing out on this amazing experience.
The reception is staffed from morning to night, so don't hesitate to stop by if you need assistance or have any questions during your stay. For a carefree and memorable holiday, it is recommended to book a place or cabin in advance, especially in high season. By staying at Reed Camping, you not only secure a place in one of Norway's most scenic areas, but also a unique chance to create lasting memories in the heart of Vestland.

One of the best campings we have stayed on, cozy, friendly, clean. Great view on the mountains and the river. The reception was efficient, friendly and helpful really a place I would recommend to everyone.

Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse. Bodde precis vid en strand med en underbar solnedgång. Ett extra plus för att det inte vara någon trafik.

Ein toller, wunderschöner Campingplatz. Die sanitären Anlagen sind sauber und zweckmässig. Der Spielplatz und der Badestrand super für kleinere Kinder. Die Aussicht ist ein Traum. Wir können den Platz nur empfehlen!
