Welcome to Restingplace - a peaceful oasis for those travelling with a tent, motorhome or caravan and looking for a quiet and natural site on a quiet villa plot in a calm neighbourhoos. On the garage driveway and lawn is the campsite, located just next to a small forest and garage with sunshine from the morning until the afternoon.
The site i located within walking distance (about 300m) to swimming and fishing in the beautiful Dalälven, this place offers peace and harmony for both body and soul. Here it is easy to relax, wake up to birdsong and fall asleep to the rustle of the trees - a perfect place for those who want to rest up between destinations or enjoy a longer stay in nature. Within cycling distance to Furuviksparken (8km), Rullsand beach (5km) and Billudden nature reserve (4-6km), fishing in Älvkarleby (4km) and golf course. Rent a bike and take the train to Gävle (11 min), Uppsala (60 min) or take a walk along the Dalälven.
The caravan park has plenty of space and has everything you need for a comfortable overnight stay. There is the possibility of an electricity connection, and close access to both a playground (100 metres) and local services. The area is very quiet with limited traffic and minimal noise, making it an ideal place for families with children, nature lovers and those looking for calm place. The site is only rented out for one tent/motorhome/caravan at a time.
With its proximity to water, fishing and swimming are just a few steps away, and the sunset over the river is an experience in itself. Thanks to its strategic location, this is an excellent base for excursions in the local area. You are welcome to come and park your vehicle or set up your tent at any time after 3 pm. If you need to come earlier it is possible to come at 10 am as long as the campsite not is occupied by a previous booking. There is no formal checking in, but you are welcome to send a text message or call the camp-owner when you arrive.

Checking-out is normally at 11 am, but if the campsite not is booked by anyone after you are welcome to stay until 1pm or come to other agreement with the camp-owner.
