Riihivuori Caravan

Riihivuori Caravan is located in central Finland, just 5.5 km from the centre of Muurame and about 20 minutes' drive from Jyväskylä. This stunning caravan area is located in connection with the Riihivuori ski resort and offers the perfect setting for both winter and summer holidays. The caravan area has more than 40 spacious caravan pitches located in different areas around the ski resort. The caravan area offers a magnificent view of Lake Päijänne and the lakes of Central Finland. The common facilities are located in an atmospheric log building, where guests can use the fully equipped kitchen with crockery, microwave, hotplates, small oven, coffee maker and kettle.

Sanitary facilities are well maintained and are located in both the service building and the theatre building. Showers and saunas are available, and guests often have access to their own sauna. The caravan area also has an electricity connection, a fresh water point and a chemical toilet flush point. A waste sorting point and an electric car charging station are also available for visitors.

In winter, the area is particularly popular with skiers and winter sports enthusiasts, as the Riihivuori Ski Centre offers 10 slopes for skiers of various levels. During the summer, it is a peaceful base for hikers and nature lovers. The covered Riihivuori Arena offers theatre and music performances during the summer. During the winter season, there is also a restaurant on site, which is open during the opening hours of the ski centre. The restaurant serves traditional Finnish dishes and barbecue food. There is also a barbecue hut, which is open during the restaurant's opening hours.

In summer, the covered Riihivuori Arena offers quality theatre and music. During the summer, the restaurant is open during performances, at other times as a restaurant on request.
