Description

In the heart of Haparanda, just half a kilometre from the Finnish border, lies Haparanda Camping. Haparanda Camping is located right next to the Torne River, which not only separates Sweden and Finland, but is also the most important river in the Baltic Sea for the reproduction of wild salmon.

The campsite has 53 pitches for motorhomes and caravans. All of the pitches are equipped with electricity. If you wish to camp, you can also do so.

The motel, which is part of the campsite, has 30 rooms with a total of 99 beds. Everything from twin rooms, family rooms and simple economy rooms for overnight stays are available here. Most of the rooms are also equipped with TV and private bathroom. If you wish to book a room or terrace with a view of the Torne River, you can do that too.

The communal dining area has a kitchen with a stove, microwave and kettle. Outside the camping area there is also a barbecue that you can use.
