Skånes Djurpark - Camp Oak

Sleep with bears and wolves as your nearest neighbours! Camp Oak at Skåne Zoo offers a camping experience beyond the ordinary. Join us for a two-day wilderness experience for the whole family where you live in the middle of the zoo in our magical tent village. You'll get close to animals and nature in a way you never thought possible before.

You'll stay comfortably in our tentipit tents equipped with heaters and electricity, in the middle of the zoo's enchanted forests. In other words, the tents are heated and have access to both electrical outlets and warm sleeping mats. Here you can enjoy both an organic breakfast in nature and dinner over an open fire. In addition, you will have the unique opportunity to visit our amazing animals at dusk and dawn two days in a row.

A stay at Camp Oak includes:

• One night's stay in the Camp Oak tented village
• Two days' admission to Skånes Djurpark
• Evening meal and breakfast by the campfire
• Free car parking
• Guided tours after the park closes

The price is 4495 SEK for up to 4 people, children under 3 years old come free of charge. Extra people pay 500 SEK per person.

At Skånes Djurpark, Nordic animals live in beautiful surroundings. Wolves, bears, seals and over 60 other animal species. During your stay, you get to follow the animal keepers as they feed and activate all the cute animals in the zoo. At Skåne Zoo you are always close to the playground, you have an adventure pool and there are plenty of hiking opportunities nearby. Skåne Zoo is the world's largest zoo for Nordic animals. Located in the middle of the Skåne wilderness, the park gives you a unique opportunity to get close to bears, wolves and other Nordic animals in a way you never thought possible before. In the daily programme, you can follow the keepers as they feed, activate and get to know all the wonderful animals at Skåne Zoo.

For younger children, there's the opportunity to meet Shaun the Sheep in a 20,000 square metre tractor track with Massey Ferguson tractors and farm animals of all kinds. It's guaranteed that you'll meet all your favourites from TV - Shaun the Sheep, Timmy the Lamb, Bitzer are all on site and offer daily fun antics in the park.

At Skånes Djurpark you will also find Expedition UPP, a swaying adventure trail among the treetops that gives you completely new ways to experience wildlife. 9 metres above the ground, suspension bridges wind along a 350-metre-long adventure that makes the hunt for wolves and red deer something completely different. Skånes Djurpark also offers a wonderful adventure pool with cooling water play, water slides that lower the temperature even on the hottest summer day. As if this wasn't enough, you also have Lake Vaxsjön within walking distance of the park where you can experience a lovely swimming area in beautiful surroundings.

• Water bottle - Every adventure starts with a bottle of water
• Flashlight - Darkness can make it tricky to find your way back to your sock bag
• Sitting mat - Moss works well but an extra mat never hurts
• Teddy bear - When the wolf howls, everyone wants a cuddly toy to hug
• Pillow - Who doesn't bring a pillow on holiday?
• Extra blanket - Are you cold or do you have a favourite blanket? Bring it along!
