We have tent pitches, camping pitches with or without electricity and cottages.

The campsite has 2 service buildings, one of which is equipped with:

  • WC & shower
  • Washroom
  • Microwave

The other larger service building is equipped with

  • Large kitchen with table and chairs
  • Microwave
  • Ordinary oven
  • Laundry room with drying cabinet
  • WC & shower

With the water so close, we have canoes and boats for hire. It is also easy and convenient to fish from the boats. The lake offers good fishing for perch and pike, and if you fish from the boat you can also fish for pike perch.

Nearby

The campsite is located directly adjacent to Ljungan, a river that originates all the way from Trondheim in Norway. Ljungan creates its own unique atmosphere in the camping area that must be experienced on site.

For those with swimming in mind, there is also Stödebadet right next to the campsite with a heated pool. At Stödebadet you will also find a gym, tennis court, billiards and a cafeteria. If you want to swim in the lake, we have 2 jetties in the camping area and there is a very beautiful beach 100 metres from the campsite.

About 1 km from the campsite we have the elljuspåret which is a scenic hiking trail well worth a visit. But there are of course several trails for walking and cycling. Another tip is a walk to Huberget, which is about 100 metres from the campsite. There you can find an old general store, museum, school museum and various activities and entertainment.

The campsite is located about 1.5 km from the centre of Stöde. Stöde is a small town with about 600 inhabitants where you can find, among other things, an ICA store, some restaurants and Stöde Church which was opened in 1759. If you want to feel a bit of the big city pulse, you can easily get to Sundsvall.

Some notable sights and experiences in Sundsvall include Kulturmagasinet, a cultural centre packed with activities for all ages. You'll also find exhibitions, the Sundsvall Museum and incredible architecture. Kulturmagasinet won the Europa Nostra award in 1987 for the way they restored the building with a combination of modern and ancient architecture from the 1890s.

Norra berget is a guaranteed hit if you have the kids with you on your camping holiday. The area is Sundsvall's city park and has animal enclosures, viewing towers, walking trails, a playground with giant waterfalls, playhouses, cafés and restaurants. The area is like Skansen in Stockholm. There is also the Vinfabriken trading centre, selling locally produced crafts and local delicacies. The park also has an open-air museum with some 40 buildings, including Norrland's oldest log house and a church barn dating back to 1310.

The neighbourhood and Sundsvall offer much more than this. Feel free to ask us for more tips on sights and experiences.
