The campsite offers a wide range of facilities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable holiday for all guests. There are spacious camping pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, as well as modern rental cabins with private toilet and space for up to six people. All guests have access to modern sanitary facilities with showers, washing machine, tumble dryer and chemical toilet emptying.

For the adventurous, there is a wide range of activities available at the campsite. You can take a refreshing dip in the heated outdoor swimming pool, play mini golf or table tennis, or take the kids to the large playground with bouncy castle. There's also beach volleyball, a ball court, billiards and an activity room with darts and a pool table.

The campsite has a kiosk with a selection of groceries, snacks and ice cream. There is also a barbecue terrace where guests can enjoy outdoor cooking and a covered barbecue area for cosy evenings with the family. For those bringing their own boat, there is a private jetty and boat slip for easy access to the water.

Tambosund Camping is located just 1.5 kilometres from the small community of Tambhouse and close to a number of exciting activities and attractions. With its location directly on the Limfjord, there are countless opportunities for water activities such as sailing, windsurfing and fishing. Children can catch crabs and small fish from the jetty, while adults can enjoy a leisurely walk along the edge of the fjord and take in the fantastic views of Jegindø.

The area also offers great cycling and hiking routes where you can experience the beautiful landscape of Central Jutland. There are marked hiking trails and cycling routes that take you through forests, along the coast and through cosy small towns.

For those who love fishing, Tambosund Camping is part of the "Havørred Limfjorden" partner programme. This means that the campsite has specialised information about fishing spots and which fish can be caught at different times of the year.

Within a short distance are several cosy towns with restaurants, cafés and shops. There are great opportunities to buy local produce and enjoy authentic Danish food in the neighbourhood.

When you arrive at Tambosund Camping, you'll be greeted by a cosy and friendly atmosphere. The campsite has no booking fees, even in high season, and guests are free to choose their favourite pitch.

The heated swimming pool is open from 17 May to 31 August and can be used from 10:00 to 20:00. In the morning between 09:00 and 10:00, the pool is reserved for adult swimming.

At the campsite you'll find modern facilities including electric hook-ups, washing cabins, family bathrooms and laundry facilities. There is also a cosy common area with a fire pit where guests can gather for pleasant evenings.

If you need groceries or gas, you can find a small shop less than a kilometre away. Cooking is also possible in the communal kitchen area or at the outdoor barbecue areas.
