Here you will find Northern Europe's largest resting place for whooper swans, a unique natural phenomenon that attracts both nature lovers and photographers from near and far. Tysslingen Nature Centre offers a wide range of facilities to make your visit both comfortable and interesting. Our popular site welcomes motorhomes and caravans, equipped with necessities such as toilets and fresh water, although we lack latrine and shower facilities.
For those interested in art and photography, the Gallery is a focal point where both local and international artists exhibit their work.
Café Svanen offers a place to rest and enjoy good coffee, sandwiches, pastries and ice cream during the summer months. We also have an open-air history museum that gives an insight into life outdoors before modern technology, as well as a bookshop filled with literature on nature, history, food and drink, children's books and a wide range of maps.
For those looking for a place to hold meetings or conferences, there are several nature-orientated venues to choose from.
Around Tysslingen there are also rest houses and bird towers open all year round, perfect for observing bird life and the surrounding nature.

Before visiting the Tysslingen Nature Centre, it's good to note that the site is very popular, so it may be wise to book your pitch well in advance, especially during the high season when the swans arrive. Please note that we do not offer latrine emptying or shower facilities, so please plan accordingly.
The visitor centre and all its facilities are open all year round, but the best times to experience the arrival of the whooper swans are during the spring months.
