Välje Bad & Camping is a nature-orientated and family-friendly campsite located next to the village of Virestad in Småland. It offers a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for those who want to get away from the stress of the city and instead enjoy the tranquillity of the water. The campsite is located right on a shallow, child-friendly sandy beach, making it an ideal place for both relaxation and adventure.
The site has around 16 camping pitches without electricity available, all located near the water and close to facilities. It is possible to book pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents, making it easy to create a comfortable stay.
Facilities at the campsite include a swimming area with changing rooms and an outhouse. There is also a tap with fresh water, making it easy to top up drinking water during your stay. For those who want to enjoy an evening by the fire, there are several communal barbecue areas where you can grill and socialise on starry evenings.
The campsite is pet-friendly, so four-legged friends are also welcome to join you on holiday. However, they are not allowed on the beach during the summer months.
Children will find plenty of space to play on the beach, build sandcastles or swim in the shallow lake. For the adventurous, there are also canoeing trails nearby, making the campsite a popular place for paddlers to explore the beautiful waters of Småland.
