Vännäs Bad och Camping

Vännäs Bad & Camping is a family-friendly campsite in the centre of the Umeå region, a perfect option for those seeking peace and quiet, but also wanting to feel the city pulse and take advantage of all its opportunities. The campsite is located right next to one of Norrland's largest temperate swimming facilities. There are two large pools, a paddling pool with water play for children and a fast-paced water slide. As a guest, you obviously have free entry to all this.

The campsite has 70 unique camping pitches and 14 beautiful tent pitches depending on how you are travelling. If you prefer to stay in a cabin, there are 15 cabins to choose from. The first nine cabins have 4 beds and are equipped with pillows and duvets for all beds. In addition, there is a standard kitchen equipment, hob, fridge and a toilet. In addition, there are two cabins with 4 beds that have the possibility of an extra bed. The cabins are divided into two bedrooms with pillows and duvets for all beds. In these cottages you will find a fridge, microwave, kitchen equipment, hob, toilet, shower, TV and a lovely furnished patio overlooking the area. Cabins 14-15 have 4 beds with a sofa bed that can become two extra beds. These cottages are equipped like the other two cottages. The last two cottages also have a large living room with the possibility of an extra bed.

In the service building you will find a number of toilets and showers, changing rooms for babies. If you need to do laundry while travelling, you have a washing machine and dryer that you can use.

Vännäs Bad & Camping offers plenty of activities for people of all ages. The proximity to the large temperate outdoor swimming pool, all the water games and slides, make this a safe bet for families with children. Vännäsbadet is of course free for everyone who is a guest at the campsite. If you want to rent a sauna, there is access to it.

In the area you will also find mini golf, beach volleyball, boules and other fun water games to entertain you. The area has wonderful walking paths and jogging tracks to discover for the adventurous.

The campsite also has a children's playground and during the summer there are guided children's activities organised on certain days.

If you get hungry, you can visit the barbecue or kiosk. The service shop at the campsite also has a good selection of basic goods if something needs to be added.

If you come here in winter, there is an alpine ski centre here with great opportunities for cross-country skiing.

If you want a change of scenery, Umeå city centre is only 1 km away. Here you will find everything from restaurants, bars, cafés, several grocery stores, systembolaget, pharmacy and several opportunities to shop for souvenirs and other exciting things.

The perfect location of the campsite means that you are also close to no less than five golf courses, several museums, Ägens hus and Slöjdarnas hus. Or why not try a jet-boat ride up the Vindel River? Whatever you choose to do, there's something for everyone.
