Vidinge Gård

Vidinge Gård, a guesthouse located in the scenic Småland region in the middle of the Glasriket, is a cosy and family-friendly place that welcomes both dogs and guests. It is surrounded by open fields with cows and surrounded by forest. For those looking for an active holiday, we offer hiking and cycling along gravel roads through Småland nature and nature reserves, fishing in Alsterån and lakes, cultural experiences, adrenaline kicks with zipline, shopping, crafts, design and glass blowing in Glasriket and much more.

For our camping guests, there is a service room in the guesthouse with toilet and shower and there is also a new combined washer / dryer (laundry is paid on site). It is possible to fill fresh water.

At the campsites there is a barbecue area for our guests.

If you want a relaxing and peaceful holiday, you can enjoy the garden for sunbathing and playing, visit the swimming area in Älghult, go forest bathing or relax in a hammock in the forest. You can rent the whole house or a floor for family reunions, family gatherings, parties or events.

At Vidinge Gård we offer different types of rooms where some rooms have a private bathroom while others share a bathroom with up to two other rooms. All rooms include sheets, towels and final cleaning, and breakfast can be booked as an option.

It is possible to book some rooms with a private bathroom located a few steps away from the room and labelled with your room number. For those who wish to cook their own meals, a shared kitchen is available, with a fridge, stove/oven and kitchenware, where each guest is responsible for their own cleaning and washing up.

On the ground floor there are two spacious apartments with their own kitchen, bathroom, living/dining area and three separate bedrooms, ideal for a family or small group who want to have their own bedrooms but still socialise. Guests can choose to bring their own bed linen and towels or book it as an optional extra.

We have six pitches for caravans or motorhomes with electricity and access to toilet/shower and kitchen in the guest house (subject to availability, not available when the entire guest house is booked for parties). It is also possible to book a place without electricity in the car park.

We welcome dogs in all rooms and in the restaurant. The dog can also play in the garden with our own dog, Kenny. It is possible to go for walks and exercise in the woodland, and for groups, we can arrange pastures for training in consultation with landowners and hunting teams.
