Viking Republic Nature Camp

Welcome to Viking Republic Nature Camp, a unique oasis located in scenic Bohuslän, Sweden. Spanning an area the size of 15 football pitches, our facility offers a true experience of living close to nature.

Within this vast camp are a number of facilities designed to give you a comfortable, yet authentic wilderness experience. We have a stylish Swedish cottage where our team lives and from there we coordinate all activities.

Our camp is equipped with everything you need for an adventurous stay: from an outdoor shower and dry toilets to a volleyball court for the sports enthusiasts. For evening activities, there are several barbecue and fire pits and two swimming piers for relaxing moments by the water.

The first of our planned log houses is already completed, offering a unique living experience in the middle of nature.

We provide 20 canoes as well as full equipment and tents for those who wish to explore the surrounding waterways or try wild camping in the surrounding forests. For those looking forward to a more stationary stay, work is underway to build additional log cabins, which will provide space for more guests and even more comfort.

Bohuslän is known for its magnificent nature and Viking Republic Nature Camp is located in the heart of this beauty. In the vicinity of the camp you will find countless opportunities for excursions and activities. Walk along the coast and discover small, hidden beaches or take a day trip to one of the picturesque towns in the area to enjoy the local food and culture.

For adventure seekers, canoe along the winding rivers or explore the deep forests nearby.

Swimming spots are within easy reach, perfect for a refreshing swim on hot summer days. Restaurants, bars and shops can be found in the nearby towns, just a short drive from the campsite.

For your stay with us at Viking Republic Nature Camp, it is a good idea to pack clothes for all weather conditions, as nature here can be unpredictable. Also, don't forget comfortable hiking shoes for your off-road excursions. We provide all the necessary equipment for canoeing and camping, but you may want to bring your own rucksack for day trips.
