Vilshärads Camping - Halmstad

Vilshärad offers so much more than a sandy beach and a fantastic nature reserve. There are two restaurants with both ala carte and pizza, one with rights. We have a glassworks where you can blow your own glass, farm shop, clothing barn, football golf.

In the natural harbour, which is a short distance from the facility, you will find Halmstad's perhaps best crab fishing. And next door to Vilshärad is Ringenäs Golf Course and a little further away you will find some more fine golf facilities.

Halmstad is without a doubt one of Sweden's most popular tourist destinations with lots of activities for people of all ages.

For families with children, you have Leo's playland, which is a firm favourite. Or why not Sannarpsbadets Äventyrsbad with water slides, whirlpool and lovely exercise and activity pools. The go-kart halls at Slottsmöllan offer an indoor track and are therefore perfect whatever the weather.

Tylösand, with its vibrant nightlife and cosy restaurants, is 7 km from Vilshärads Camping. Here you will find nightclubs, bars and outdoor cafés that are open until the early hours. Inside Leif's Lounge at Hotell Tylösand, you can enjoy world-class artist Per Gessle's exhibition of all his and Roxette's gold discs and instruments, which are now historical. During the summer there are lots of guest performances here. Don't miss this!

Other excursion destinations are Heagårds Skafferi, Syltfabriken Hafi, Wapnö Gårdsbutik, Mostorps Gård and Strandskatorna.

If you want to go on even longer excursions, you can do as many others do and take a shopping trip to Gekås in Ullared or a day trip to our dear neighbour Denmark.
