Kätkävaara is located halfway between Rovaniemi and Kemi, near the Pisavaara Nature Park. The nature in the Kätkävaara area is absolutely stunningly beautiful and diverse. For this reason, Kätkävaara can be called a nature lover's paradise.
In the Kätkävaara area, the bare dunes rise towards the heights. Clear-water rivers and vast steppe swamps and forests of scrub punctuate the valleys. A nature lover is at home here.
There are countless nature reserves in the Kätkävaara region. The most spectacular of these is the Pisavaara Nature Reserve, the highest reserve in Southern Lapland and the most strictly protected nature reserve in Europe. There is a restaurant in the area with A-rights. We serve with absolutely excellent food.
