Yttermalungs Camping

A warm welcome to the cosy and small campsite, Yttermalung Camping!

Here you will find a sustainable facility with the environment in focus located in the village of Yttermalung in Dalarna County. Yttermalungs Camping has both cottages and 10 spacious caravan sites with electricity (Mx 16 ampere), which are never more than 75 metres from the service building. The service houses have everything you need for a comfortable stay with sink, washing machine and kitchen.

For those who want to try something new they also have Glamping tents. During the summer months the campsite runs YIK's Hagabadet and during the winter you will find ice skating and many other activities suitable for all ages. Of course you also have free WI-Fi in and next to the reception!

Yttermalung campsite works closely with both local associations and businesses to bring light to the economy of the area. Therefore, several wilderness experiences are offered in and around the campsite. Not only that, you will also find a cosy restaurant serving everything from pancakes to paninis and coffee. During the summer you can also order fresh breakfast rolls at the campsite.

Yttermalung campsite offers a wide range of activities such as mini golf, swimming pool, climbing wall, ropes course, barbecue areas and a volleyball court. You will also find a wood-fired sauna and much more.

In the Swedish nature in and around Yttermalung campsite you can experience a lot.

Why not take a hike on the hiking trails or go out on a canoe trip, both one-day and multi-day trips on the fine waters in the area. Then take the opportunity to try your hand at fishing in one of the 200 fine waterways. If you fancy a bit of speed, there's also MTB and endless dirt roads, trails and more to explore. All of which you can of course hire at and near the campsite.

In addition to this you will also find wilderness safaris, quad bike tours and dog sledding (winter). If you want shops and the like that are hard to find in the wilderness, Malung is only 1.5 miles from yttermalungs camping. Here you will find shops, boutiques and restaurants for those days you want to treat yourself to something extra.

Pets are normally allowed on the campsite. Parking is included next to the caravan site (max one car per crew). There is a bus stop in the village with a line running between Borlänge and Sälen. If you need to charge your electric car, there are also 2 electric posts. The hot tub is open from Midsummer to the end of August (10:00 - 19:00) The reception and the restaurant are open with full service all July and all August The caravan sites are open May- September.
