Västerbotten

Västerbotten also called `Bästerbotten` is clearly a landscape that stands out in northern Sweden. Known for its tasty Västerbotten cheese, but also almond potatoes and palt. You will also find Norrland's largest city here - Umeå, which is obviously worth a visit. In addition to this there are countless rivers to fish in, many even claim that they are the best in Sweden. Are you more adventurous you can always visit one of the Västerbotten mountains. Borgafjäll, Tärnaby, Kittelfjäll, Hemavan and Stekenjokk are some incredibly beautiful places to visit.
