Belägna precis intill Store Hindsjön har campingen både vatten och natur som närmsta granne. Campingen är den perfekta startpunkten för utflykter till Glasriket, Älgparken, vandringsleder, sevärdheter, fiske och rekreation. Är ni sugna på att utforska naturen har ni Bjällingsmåla naturreservat 1,5 kilometer från campingen. Genom att gå Bjällingsmålaleden når man fram till den vackra naturbadstranden Sandvik som är värt ett besök. Hundar i koppel är självklart välkomna på campingen dock ej på badstranden. plats att bada hundar finns på kort gångavstånd.

Alsterbro Campsite & Camping offers accommodation in the form of mini hotels, pitches and plots with space for motorhomes, caravans and tents. With several different types of accommodation, you can choose the one that suits you best and the pitches can be booked with or without an EL.

There are 16 camping pitches and pitches, 6 of which are with electricity. A map of the campsite, pitches and camping pitches can be found at this link.

In the service building you will find among other things:

• Two showers
• Toilets
• Washing and washing-up facilities
• Washing machine
• Microwave

The campsite also has barbecue facilities, a café and a fully licensed restaurant.

When you feel like getting active, there are plenty of options.

For example, if you like to swim, Alsterbro Pitch & Camping offers swimming facilities at the lake which is directly adjacent to the campsite.

If you want to try your hand at fishing instead, there are plenty of opportunities for that. Here you can fish for pike, perch, whitefish, roach, tench, pike-perch and even signal crayfish, depending on the season. However, remember that you need a valid fishing licence. This is available at the COOP, 300 metres from the campsite.

For those of you who want to go out on the lake, you can rent a rowing boat from the Fishing Area Association. Remember to ALWAYS wear a life jacket when you are out on the lake. Ship and boat!

If you like baking, don't miss our baking course. During the course you will learn how to bake stone oven baked sourdough bread in a wood-fired oven in our bakery. We have a maximum of 8 people per session with our eminent Kjell. The course is about 4 hours long and the result is usually around 30 delicious loaves.

Boka i så god tid som möjligt för att försäkra er om att ni kan få er önskade boendeform.

Det är enklast att ta sig till campingen med hjälp bil, husvagn eller husbil. Åker ni kommunalt rekommederar vi er att titta efter långfärdsbussar, i Alsterbro finns nämligen ingen tågstation.

Kuriosa om minihotellet:

Minihotellet är från 1958 och lokalerna användes ursprungligen av bland annat av folktandvården och det har även varit en polisstation. 2009 renoverades det om till det som nu är Alsterbro Minihotell.

Vårt minihotell har 5 stycken rum med samlingsrum och kök, alla rum är försedda med egen toalett och dusch, WiFi och TV.
